Opening in the summer of 2017 on the winery of Azienda Nicola Santoleri is “1949” (millenovecento quaranta nove), a luxury B&B and exclusive slow food, Abruzzese restaurant managed by Abruzzo-born, Toronto praised Chef Luca Del Rosso.
Named “1949” in recognition of the birth date of the leader of Santoleri wines, Nicola Santoleri, the refurbished 1700 structure has a breathtaking view of the Santoleri vineyards and the peak of Mount Majella.
In keeping with the highest standard of quality and attention to detail demonstrated in the making of our wines, the rooms at 1949 offer a relaxing sanctuary. In addition, the restaurant at 1949 offers diners a gastronomical experience by showcasing local Abruzzese products and table side wine pairing.
